This was our first time on the island in January and although it was a bit rainy it was perfect for just relaxing. At night it was so quiet and peaceful. It was just what we needed....and we were grateful not to be home caught in the Atlanta "Snowmageddon" that everyone saw on the news. Thank you IRE for another wonderful stay. See you in September! The pool and landscaping is immculate. Watching the sunrises from the porch was breathtaking as well as the sunsets from the beach. The little things were nice also, such as a cart in the garage filled with everything you would need for the beach. Free public transit was only half a block away for Hideway. We truly found paradise!!! Wonderful Stay!

The island offers numerous restaurants and shops with something for everyone! Anything you would need for a beach vacation is provided and/or close by. This property is conveniently located to all that the island and surrounding areas have to offer. We would highly recommend this rental for a fabulous beach vacation! My friends and I needed a nice, relaxing (yet fun) vacation and The Hideaway provided just that and more! There were 2 bathrooms (perfect for 4 girls!) and a huge master room upstairs. It had a great pool, but was also only 2 blocks away from the beach! The owners thought ahead and had a pull cart in the garage for us to use - we stocked it up with food and drinks and headed to the beach for a day. The house was extremely clean and was stocked with everything we needed, down to a (much needed) wine opener ;) The Hideaway was very close to some really great restaurants and shops (The Beach Street Bistro was amazing!) I highly recommend The Hideaway to anyone looking for a great vacation! Beachy Cozy

Only two blocks from the beach and a block from the free bus stop; cannot get much better than that. Rental provides many small perks that add the great stay. A wagon for travel to the beach, floats for the pool and WIFI. All great touches. Would go back to the Hideaway in a heart beat!!! |
